Investigating desktop virtualisation: An ISC Solutions Forum in association with Microsoft and Citrix
What’s it about?
Like many people you’ll know a little about desktop virtualisation. You’ll have heard analysts predicting that 40% or 50% of desktops will be virtualised over the next few years and you’ll have the dual question of Windows XP to 7 migration and desktop refresh looming.
The Solutions Forum is an interactive, executive roundtable for a small group (typically 10-16) of IT policy makers currently evaluating desktop virtualisation.
You’ll share your thoughts on desktop virtualisation with the group (What about it appeals to you? What reservations do you have?). Desktop virtualisation experts from Microsoft, Citrix and ISC will then explore the group’s collective reservations and discuss how each of these can be addressed in the real world.
Who’s it for?
Do you:
- Carry management responsibility for your organisation’s desktop and application delivery strategy?
- Have more than 500 UK users?
- Need to evaluate the suitability of desktop virtualisation during the next 3 months? OR
- Have a PC refresh during the next 6 months?
If you answered yes to the above AND you are prepared to share your views then this interactive Solutions Forum is right for you.
Why should I attend?
In less than a day, the Solutions Forum will enable you to decide:
- Whether desktop virtualisation is right for your organisation
- Which users it is appropriate for
- And, if appropriate, how to proceed.
