ISC’s Tape Storage is a service which enables you efficiently to schedule the collection, transport and storage of critical backup tapes.
The availability of efficient, reliable, cost effective business continuity measures is critical. Tape Storage aims to reduce your exposure to risk by way of off-site media storage, thus maintaining your service continuity despite any ongoing operational problems.
Tapes are couriered from site in locked boxes, which are designated according to your own naming conventions for maximum security and to maintain the physical integrity of your data. Routine collections and deliveries are by either ISC or nominated couriers, and all relevant personnel carry identification to assure you that only authorised agents will handle your data. To prevent media being passed to unauthorised parties, we record all details of appropriate personnel.
Hours of Cover
- Standard Tape Storage Service delivery hours are 8.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
- Extended service can be provided on request, tailored to your needs up to 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
- Tape Storage services are available for all business types based at most UK locations. If your tape collection point is within 50 miles of our Huntingdon site, ISC’s own transport is available.
- Requests for service can be logged at any time.
